The View From Space
view from space note the snow covered Mauna Kea (upper) and Mauna Loa (lower) Cloudy in Hilo (right of the mountains) and it raining on the Kona Coast down to South Point to the left of the mountains. We have a Kona wind blowing and you can see another system comming our way from the south... do you see the dark area below the curve of the island there is another active volcano lurking there 10000 feet down called Loihi... the next Hawaiian island!
