Oh... this is one of my favorite lines. I am a looker before I leap and a careful shopper. We sit today all day in the Chrysler store comming to terms with the fact that my lovely new car is the most lightly equipted, no brainer I have ever driven.
We found this out not by a dealer disclosure or asking questions but by trying to get an alarm installed. After neaarl three days of trying we all realized that there isnt enough wiring to the car to put in the sort of alarm I am used to but rather they have put in the most primitive system imaginable. This is when I found out all I have is a 6 banger under the hood, CD and power door locks no cruse control, nothing extra. I knew this, sort of, but didnt realize that what I saw really was all the we had and there was no way to upgrade anything... The 2003 was loaded to the max so I assumed...
And you all know what that means... I cant spell it out on my blog gets black listed on this wretched computer.
Woody is pissed at himself. He has sold cars for 25 years and fell in love with a pretty car with no miles like the average idiot buyer. He spent most of the day kicking himself...And the dealer, who is cutting back a check for 2000.00 for stuff that we didnt get. Its a fraud of sorts. But we need to get out of here and on to Bentonville so we can get our lives started again...so we arent fighting it. We own the car. Its not a lemon, just not what we thought we were getting. Silly us.
We have some concerns now but our check on CARfax says this vehicle is clean, just a stripped down model. By getting the money back we are now paying for the car we got...
A sexy looking V-6 Neon... Oh its peppy and I was able to navigate Houstons Freeway jungle with flair and ease... But Woody's still pissed and when papa's not happy nobody is happy...
We were going to see the baby Kitties today. We have landed a rental house that will accept them in Bella Vista, but we need to see it first...I also see that I may be able to post from my phone and will try that today.
