Holiday Invasion
Wide Blue Lake? Lake shore vista at Viney Creek Recreation area
Well its been very quiet here for these few weeks that we have been living at Wedgewood 6. But no more with the holiday weekend upon us, people with boats, rafts, fishing gear and stuff... The summer season has arrived with aplomb. We now have neighbors and they have kids and BBQ's, so we are glad that a place has opened up for us closer to our home in Bella Vista.
I havent been blogging as we have been really busy with the bid process with contractors that will be doing the renovations. Add 4 hours daily travel time from Holiday Island to the Corridor Area eats up time.
I am comming to love this region. The air smells of jasmine and honeysuckle for a taste of Hawaii here in the Ozarks. The weather has been perfect temperature wise. I know that this is a blessing as the rest of the country is swelltering or freezing.
We have the kitties with us for the last few days and are loving it. We wont be separated again on this journey.
We get a lot of questions and its hard to answer them . We came to Arkansas for many reasons and all of them matter. You cant compare the two and there are wonderful things all around you to see. Arkansas is a beautiful place.
It is a wonderful thing to see Woody really happy. That has made it worth everything. I am so glad that we were a part of the seasonal invasion, but unlike the fishing folk and the boaters, we wont be going home... we are home, and I am glad of it...
