A Little News, A Little Shopping

Soon My postings will be universal. Frustrated with the total inability to look at news from public computers... its silly really Woody was trying to look at items for the upcomming Kentucky Derby and was blocked as the computer decided that these were "g-mbl-ng" sites. I cant even mention the word or it makes my blog off limits. When I spoke to the manager about this she sighed and agreed with me but its way above her to get this changed, I do understand that.

But its all of the public computers. What is with the sensorship? I am a big girl and can deal with the issues...I dont get it.

So Woody says as we are walking through the Mall of the Woodlands, "There is a Dell Store, get ready to buy us a laptop." Yip Yip Yippe! so we ordered one and it will meet us in Bentonville next week Im very excited about this.

that was not the only shopping I did. There is only one Mall in all of the Big Island, and it was filled with the worst imaginable mix of stores that had nothing that I needed. It had a JC Penny when we moved there but it closed shortly after we arrived leaving us the catalog to shop in. Same for Lane Bryant. They had a huge store there and it closed just after we moved there.. We should have taken the warning and run away then.

So it was with joy that I plunged into both stores, and 100 others here in The Woodlands. The mall reminds me of South Coast Plaza in Orange county, Very broad range of stores from the bargan to the fantastically expensive... Woody and I spent the day roaming around, I bought some much needed things and had a hair cut... Got some face cream... Jeez I look human again.

We have post poned our departure for Bentonville for a few days. We got a call from the LOJACK people to come out and install our lojack in my new car and then the gal stopped and said "Oh Dear, we dont service Arkansas" I said "What , no cars ripped off there?" She said they do have a generally lower crime rate there. So we have had the car into the dealer to put on a dealer system and alarm... Glad for that, but the car really hasnt been driven and wed like to give it a few spins before we take off, cats in tow, for the big trip north. So we get the thing back today and we will drive it this week end and see how it does then leave monday or tuesday.

Kitties are fine. We took them some of the food that they are used to and they nearly squealed with joy and ate a lot of it. Both are well but want to know when are they getting out of jail... they promise to be good kitties. They are anyway.
