This working still was found in the cave when it was opened to the public in the 70's . The large "room" in theis potion of the cavern was reputed to be one of the hide outs for Jesse and Frank James. While there are no bones there are some artifacts that show this was a waystation and not a permanant home for anyone including native Americans, likely due to the rising of the river every spring that washes out the caverns
