Between Hell and High Water

We have been attending another church this past few weeks, The First United Methodist Church, more formal and traditionally based than any church Woody has attended, and I am pretty happy about the situation.



Tonight there was a dinner and watermelon feed, it was a happy time for most, but for many of these older people, they were very concerned...

There was talk of the end of the world... of family and friends between Hell and High Water

Many spoke of family and friends that live in the southern parts of Louisiana, and were unsure of their status. People asking for prayers, and the exchange of tales of disasters past.

Its thought that we in NW Arkansas will not experience much effect of this monster hurricane, we at the picnic werent so sure. We need the rain, any would be welcome... but the worry is that the hot-cold line will shift and the tonado risk for us will elevate.

I am praying for a safe passage of this storm. I know that the damage is going to be horrific
