    Happy Fourth Birthday Baby Kitties!

    6 month old Makoa and KaNani, so tiny we had to double over their collars!

    They are our joy, they are a trial. They can be the best medicine for a stressful day, or they can generate enough anxiety to fry me for days... and they are the best little travelers. If the ancient Hawaiians had "Popoki" on the voyaging canoe, they must have had Mak and Nani's distant ancestor on board, they have done so well.

    Born sometime between 9-11- and 9-13 2001 they are proof that good things happen too in the midst of all the sadness. The foster "grandparents" said they were the best kittens they had ever reared.

    They are my delight, I cant imagine life without them. So its extra Fancy Feast tonight and lots of hugs and kisses for the birthday kids.
