The View From Here
old Victorian homes in downtown Eureka Springs Arkansas
Well, the feeling here is uggh. I have the feeling like I have the worst cold Ive had in years and Woody went yesterday to the dermatologist. He had 20 spots removed on his face chest and a whopper of one on his back. Between his back and my neck we are a sorry pair. The only good thing to come of this is that I dont feel like eating and Im losing a bit of weight.
The mass on my neck is actually enlarged and I will be heading back to see the Doctor tomorrow. Minor surgery is on the docket and that will releive the pressure and help me get healed up. Yes somewhat messy, but it wont leave a scar.
I did get some news on my trip to Ohio. Someone signed up for the class for the first of the two weeks which is repair basics... The second week is stone setting and finishing, which I did well at when we were there last year, so maybe I wont need that week, but Id like to take it anyway so I am hoping that another student will sign up for both weeks. I have decided to go anyway, and will be contacting the school today to let them know. I am so looking forward to the adventure...
The weather has been amazingly gorgeous, even now as a thunderstorm is rolling in. We are slowly unpacking and the pile of empty cartons feels really good.
We had an invitation to go with our next door neighbor the the church they have been visiting. Its technically affiliated with the So. Baptists, but is more like the independent non denominational churches we are used to... I have mixed feelings about it but I am willing to go if Woody wants to go and check it out...we shall see how thing go.
I want to thank all of you that prayed and sent your good wishes regarding my health situation. It helps it really does.
