A Winter's Day
The snowy Day. Snow flurries outside of my workplace near Lowell AR
I woke to winter wonderland. We knew that this was a possibility, but I dont think that we were really prepared for this....
I loved it.
I was working at my job, my desk is on the second floor and I was looking out the window and was thrilled to watch the snow flurries. And yes they piles up but melted down by the end of the day. But it has stayed cold. As I blog this (12-8 at 10pm) it is nearly zero
Here is the weather pixie at noon. I know this is warm for some of you right now you are in our prayers. We watch the weather channel in awe at the snow fall in the Chicago area where the plane crashed its amazing...
Woody trying to light the gas fireplace system. I think this gets the silly Santa shot of the year
On the home front I am doing well at my job, but am a bit jelous of Woody staying home and out of this cold. He is doing everything possible to keep us warm, as you can see in this photo. He is also doing all of the house work and I have had dinner on the table when I get home. It has really helped me during this transitional time of ajustment to working again. Im really proud of him stepping up to the plate and helping out.
After several days of phone calls and neighbors helping, he did get the fireplace going, its a blessing to have it during this fridgid time.
